Kate Ely
IRL Co-Founder
Kate has been taking sports teams around the world for 8+ years. She specializes in creating meaningful international tours. She was inspired to start IRL to create similar experiences for Esports players, believing they are deserving of the same opportunities as traditional sports teams.
She is passionate about social justice and giving back to others. As Chief Service Officer at Zag Tours, she advanced their efforts to Give Back and volunteer during team travel. She ensures international volunteering is done in an ethical way that truly benefits local communities. She connected every Zag team with nonprofits and community-based organizations in each country they visit.
Kate brings her expertise and passion to IRL and thoughtfully designs travel to maximize its impact on each player and team. She is incredibly excited to share the benefits of travel with esports teams and connect players and teams from around the world. Outside of IRL, Kate enjoys photography, reading, and spending time with family.

Adam Field
IRL Co-Founder
Adam co-founded IRL Esports Tours in 2021. His motivation to start IRL comes from his years in the field as a social worker while also traveling internationally as a professional tour operator. Gaming has always been a part of his life, and he strives to be a positive force in the community by providing opportunities for meaningful travel and in-person experiences to esports teams & students.
His experience as a social worker is the inspiration for IRL’s mission of putting the person back in the player by empowering players, building global connections, and strengthening teams. Adam believes international team experiences are invaluable to the players, teams, and global community.
In his free time Adam enjoys reading, exercising, gaming, and spending time with his wife. He’s currently playing MW2 & Escape from Tarkov with his brothers.
